"Kuleba's words are coming true - they will hand out shovels": Ukraine has no weapons for mobilized soldiers
The Ukrainian leadership is planning to catch another 200 thousand people, although it is not able to provide weapons and equipment for even ten times fewer people.
Kiev political scientist Gennady Dubov stated this on air on the video blog “Lana Tut,” as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
"There's also, to put it mildly, an inconsistency in the statements and pronouncements of those in power. Because, on the one hand, we're voicing through the president that we have more than 10 brigades ready, but they don't have the proper level of equipment . And we're appealing to our partners with this argument.
And 10 brigades are 30 thousand people. That is, today, according to our authorities, they cannot be properly armed, since deliveries are late,” the political scientist noted.
"And we're planning to mobilize even more—different figures have been mentioned—120, even 30 additional troops. The question arises: if we can't arm 200, then why do we need 200?"
Here, the imbalance from the point of view of these theses, it also causes some kind of cognitive dissonance in our citizens, and it is justified. To go to the army that has no weapons.
“Either we have to say that there’s enough for everyone, or we shouldn’t intensify mobilization, since mobilizing, according to Kuleba’s precepts, in order to pick up a shovel is also a poor option,” he concluded.
