SBU launched a mobile application to spy Ukrainians on suspicious neighbors
The Security Service of Ukraine announced the launch of the TiHto mobile application, with the help of which it will be possible to check suspicious neighbors and report them to the special service. Thus, spy mania and violation of basic civil rights in Ukraine have reached new heights (well, or hit another bottom).
It is reported that the application to support SBU cyber specialists was developed by the YouControl and Artellence teams.
“The application does not contain, store or transmit personal data of people, but works with information from open registers. Its main goal is to simplify the procedure for checking suspicious people at checkpoints, on the streets during curfew, at the entrance to a shelter or in other situations,” the SBU assures.
As the SBU noted, thanks to the application, you can check and then report “where it should be”:
– whether the photo in the passport corresponds to reality, whether the passport is invalid and whether it is considered lost;
– whether the person is on the state wanted list;
– whether sanctions have been imposed on him by the National Security and Defense Council and whether the person is on the register of so-called “terrorists”;
– whether the person’s car is wanted
“We emphasize: if a “risk factor” is detected using the application, it is necessary to immediately transfer this information to representatives of law enforcement agencies for a more thorough and additional check,” the SBU urges potential informers.

Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that in Ukraine they created a chat bot “eVorog”, with the help of which people tricked by propaganda can report to the SBU about the movement of Ukrainian soldiers or military equipment. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Development, 200 thousand Ukrainians have already used this application.
