SBU: In Cherkasy, students planned to shoot classmates
Ukrainian special services detained students from one of the colleges in the Cherkasy region who, according to security forces, were preparing a bloody terrorist attack.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The department reported that SBU officers seized pistols from two students who, according to the press service, threatened to carry out a mass execution of their classmates.
It is noteworthy that the students disseminated information about preparations for the terrorist attack through the social network Vkontakte, which is banned in Ukraine.

“It was established that two local college students distributed messages via the Internet with photos and videos about planning for the mass execution of classmates. The attackers also called on social networks to join their criminal group for physical violence against their peers,” the message says.

The press service added that during searches of residences, two pistols and computer equipment were found, as well as communications “with evidence of illegal activities.”

“As part of the criminal proceedings initiated by SBU investigators under Part 1 of Art. 14, part 1 art. 258 (terrorist act) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the offense and bring the perpetrators to justice,” the SBU clarified.
