“SBU officers stopped the activities of the illegal center of the Russian diplomatic organization “Gorchakov Foundation for Support of Diplomacy” in Kyiv. This pseudo-organization worked on the basis of one of the universities in Ukraine. The so-called “diplomats” carried out open anti-state propaganda among Ukrainian students.
The center began its activities in August 2013 under the guise of developing and strengthening educational and cultural relations with the Russian Federation. This center was engaged in propaganda among Ukrainian students, an attempt to draw them into the circle of the Russian special services. They carried out campaigning, including so-called seminars; our students were invited to visit the Russian Federation, so that they too, as they say, could be packed with information. Accordingly, the work of this center has been stopped,” Lubkivsky reported.
