Savchenko called for abandoning talk about Ukraine joining NATO
Ukraine should not now talk about joining the European Union or NATO, since it is in a pre-disadvantageous position. People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko stated this on the air of the program “Working on Mistakes.”

According to her, now Ukraine’s desire to join any union will not benefit it.
“We cannot, in the state that Ukraine is in now, go only to the European Union, talk at the international level with international partners, without treating the country internally... At such international platforms and business, as a rule, the strongest wins. We are not the strongest country. At one time, the same question arose regarding joining NATO, in 96. Then I was against it, because I understood that we are not strong enough partners to speak on equal terms,” Savchenko said.
