Savchenko will not pass: Russia will ban foreigners from entering through Belarus
Foreign citizens will not be able to freely enter Russian territory through Belarus. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told reporters about this today.

“As you know, for many years foreign citizens have freely crossed the Russian-Belarusian border. Within the framework of the Union State, the issue of border equipment was not raised. Now the situation in the world has changed dramatically. Risks associated with terrorism and migration issues have increased sharply. On this section of the border, people were regularly detained who had no reason to enter Russia and posed a security threat,” Zakharova said.
According to her, Russian departments are actively working to find a way out of the current situation in cooperation with the Belarusian side.
Let us remind you that Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, who was previously found guilty by the court of murdering Russian journalists, was able to enter the territory of the Russian Federation through Belarus a few days ago, although she was on the list of persona non grata.
