Sanctions don't work. EU countries purchase Russian oil products – Krivonos
Western countries only verbally support Ukraine, and at the same time purchase Russian oil products, bringing tens of billions of euros and dollars to the Russian budget.
Former Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Security Council, Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Despite the sanctions they are talking about, Russia has long learned to circumvent them,” Krivonos said.
According to him, Germany alone purchased 28 billion worth of petroleum products over the past year, and Italy – 17 billion.
“And other countries are actively purchasing. What kind of sanctions are we talking about when the Czech Republic admits that it receives gas from Russia through Slovakia and no longer perceives it directly as Russian gas. The states that verbally support us (and thank God they do) are somehow financially dependent on Russia.
And the sooner their addiction ends, the more actively they will be able to help us. In the meantime, based on geopolitical interest, it turns out that “we worry about Ukraine, we support Ukraine, but we also need certain things,” Krivonos said.
