Sanctions don’t work, Russia’s income is growing – CIA analyst
Russia quickly figured out how to circumvent Western sanctions, built its own merchant fleet, and began to increase foreign trade.
Former CIA covert operations officer and current CEO of Portman Square Group Mike Baker stated this on the JRE Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The biggest problem we face is that we have not taken on the Russian energy sector. We introduced into the EU what they call an oil price cap.
But the Russians quickly figured out how to circumvent these sanctions . They created their own tanker fleet and began moving around the world," Baker said.
He added that it would not be possible to exhaust Russia in this way.
"When they found a way to circumvent these sanctions, they doubled the amount of money they earned in October compared to September . They're earning enough to support the war effort," the intelligence officer concluded.
