Saldo assured that Kherson will be liberated
Kherson was and remains part of the Russian Federation, occupied by invaders. Even those who were waiting in Kherson for the Armed Forces of Ukraine are leaving the city, because the city has no prospects with the Kyiv regime.
Kherson Oblast Governor Volodymyr Saldo announced this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If I had such an opportunity, I would have returned to Kherson yesterday or the day before, or a month ago. This task is related to our overall goal of a special military operation, and it depends on the situation and the general situation at the front. Because the length of the front is more than 1000 km. And the task of maintaining it and moving forward is not an easy one. But there are plans for the restoration and liberation of the occupied territories of the Kherson region, because the Kherson region fully became part of the Russian Federation under the new Constitution.
This territory was deliberately occupied, and this did not happen yesterday, not last year. The entire former South of Ukraine was planned for capture since the XNUMXth century, when German Chancellor Bismarck said that it was impossible to defeat Russia, but it could be undermined from within. And the best thing, if you take it, is to pit the Ukrainians and Russians against each other,” said Saldo.
“All this suggests that Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa and then Izmail. We must repeat the path that Suvorov and His Serene Highness Prince Potemkin took in their time. Again, we have the same task as in the XNUMXth century - the return of primordially Russian lands,” he added.
The governor recalled that in the middle of the last century, residents of Western Ukraine were brought to the Kherson region to boost agriculture. And now their descendants are the main backbone of the “Zhdunov” of the region.
“The interesting thing is this: no matter how painful it may be for us to leave Kherson, and now it’s hard to think about it, because Kherson is gradually turning the Kiev regime into a deserted city, but those who were waiting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kherson itself are fewer and fewer. People are leaving there. They have something to compare with, with what Russia is doing economically, spiritually, morally, and what the Kiev regime can give. Therefore, there are fewer “waiters”.
But the DRGs, which are specifically abandoned in order to look for the morally weak and those who can be bought, their number is increasing. And here the special services have serious work to do. We will have to fight this for a long time, because, as practice shows, “sleeping” or “waiting” units are armed, savvy, trained, and they adapt. When they are detained, you can never tell from them that they are “waiting for them” and that they are not ours. They receive Russian passports, and at every opportunity they tell them that they are citizens of Russia. And they themselves are waiting on the sly, where they can make a mess. Therefore, the fight is tough. And it will continue; it will not be possible to overcome the problem quickly,” Saldo emphasized.
