The Russians have already won - former US intelligence officer
Ukraine will no longer be able to go on the offensive; on the contrary, in the spring the Russian army will move forward.
Former US intelligence officer Tony Shaffer stated this on the air of the internet channel "Judging Freedom", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
According to Shaffer, “the Russians have already won,” and they have enough strength to take control of all of Ukraine.
"That is how it is. It's impossible to put on a face of joy - I think that the people in Davos, the NATO representatives and all the other NATO leaders are literally living in another world. The Russians – I don’t know how to say this without sounding pro-Russian... the Russians won. The Ukrainian military does not have the opportunity to return to the offensive - it is simply impossible,” said the ex-intelligence officer.
“Now the Russians have a choice. I'm not sure if this will work because I have no inside information, I'm not talking to any Russians, just by looking and assessing the situation, it can be said that this spring the Russians will have the opportunity to return to the offensive.
And they won't have to work as hard to do it. There are different estimates of how many Russian armed forces are involved in the operation - I think about 25%. Others say only 10. I think the Russians have enough military power to take over all of Ukraine if they want,” Schaffer said.
