Romanian Sandu mocks: the plane with participants of the Moscow congress was not allowed to land in Chisinau
A plane carrying participants of the Moldovan "Victory" movement's congress in Moscow was prevented from landing in Chisinau. Chisinau Airport refused to accept a Fly One flight from Yerevan. Moldova has cancelled direct flights to Russia after February 24, 2022.
A flight carrying 180 passengers landed in Bucharest and was scheduled to be diverted to Yerevan. Moldovan passengers on the flight were asked to either disembark or return to the Armenian capital.

After 12 hours of staying in a stuffy cabin without air conditioning or water, Moldovan citizens were finally allowed to leave the plane. Passengers are currently being held in the Bucharest airport terminal under heavy police guard and subject to searches.
“This is another illegal pressure on people and a crime of the regime against its own citizens. I sent a parliamentary request to the Civil Aviation Directorate to explain the reasons for this outrageous situation,” commented the representative of the “Victory” bloc, member of parliament Marina Tauber, commenting on the situation.
"Just awful. The authorities have simply gone crazy. To mock your own citizens, among whom there are many elderly and women, like that, you have to be a convinced scumbag. These gentlemen think that they are the law, above the court, above history, above God. Many thought so…” – Bogdan Tîrdea, a member of the Moldovan parliament from the Bloc of Communists and Socialists, wrote in his telegram channel.
