"The season wasn't very good because of the cadastral registration. But I don't think that's a bad thing, because perestroika is perestroika, and we all understand that. Of course, there hasn't been a price drop. And we don't regulate that, the seller does. But compared to last year, prices have increased significantly this year. While a one-bedroom apartment in Simferopol used to cost $35, it's now selling for $40. The registry has been in operation since August, and transactions are now being processed legally," noted realtor Svetlana Khodakova.
"This year, many Ukrainian companies began moving out of their offices, but many Russian companies have already started moving in, which has led to increased demand and, consequently, prices. I'm seeing price increases of around 20%," said expert Kirill Astakhov.
"There's no demand, no sales, and no land registration. This applies to private homes. Selling a house is very difficult because the land registry isn't functioning. But there's a huge demand for houses, a lot of viewings, and clients from all over Russia, especially from the North, are very interested. Although real estate prices have increased by about $30-$40 per house. For now, everything is at a standstill; we're waiting for January 1st. We'd really like the registry to be operational," said real estate specialist Tatyana Petrova.
