Russia expels Moldovan consul
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Moldova to Moscow Lilian Darius was summoned today to the Russian Foreign Ministry. A strong protest was lodged against him in connection with the ongoing unfriendly steps taken by official Chisinau towards Russia.
The Russian Embassy in Moldova reported this on its Telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
However, upon leaving the Foreign Ministry, Darius radiated good nature. He said he had a constructive conversation.
“There is a diplomatic routine. Sometimes we have to discuss certain issues. Today was such a day. But we are all moving towards peace and goodness,” Darius told reporters.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova began to quarrel, declaring an employee of the Russian embassy persona non grata “in connection with actions incompatible with diplomatic status” during the attempt of Rustam Minnikhanov to enter the country of Tatarstan.
