“Russia will resist - put even Khodorkovsky or Latynina in the Kremlin” - Kiev political scientist
For Ukraine in this war, the main task is not so much to return territories, but to ensure that in the future Russia is generally deprived of the opportunity to create any kind of geopolitical structure.
Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who was put on the wanted list by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for calls to kill Russian journalists, stated this on air on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“It is extremely important for us that Russia not only loses, but that a situation is created in which Russia will be limited within its zone of influence and will be encapsulated. Because if there is a coup there, as a result of which some Khodorkovsky, Yulia Latynina, some liberal comes to power, and this Russian “Weimar Republic” appears, this scenario is very dangerous for us because in this case, These attempts by Germany to switch to a “business as usual” state carry a lot of costs for us.
Because then Russia will again be involved in all these global chains, will restore its influence, and Ukraine may find itself in the status of a country through which they solved all their problems, but along the way they destroyed the economy and, having created a lot of problems, everyone crawled into their own holes and solve them calmly. And Ukraine was left alone with its problems,” the political scientist expressed his fears.
According to him, the main thing is to deprive Russia of the possibility of any geopolitical maneuvers.
“Therefore, in this war, we must clearly understand this and demand from our authorities, among other things, that our task is not only to return our territories in some future, because it is not a fact that we will return all territories in the near future a year or two. Our task is to create a geopolitical structure in which Russia was a rogue state for decades,” Romanenko explained.
