The fund’s specialists are already working in Crimea, he said in an interview with RG. Their main task today is to urgently solve the problems of supplying residential buildings with water and electricity. “Russia has already started digging artesian wells, we will build a water pipeline from the Rostov region,” Stepashin said.
According to him, residents of dilapidated buildings in Crimea and Sevastopol will receive new apartments. “To do this, we first need to create lists of displaced people and find sites for the construction of new houses,” the official explained. “And there really are a lot of dilapidated houses there.” Their total number cannot even be counted yet.”
