Ukraine needs Western long-range weapons to cut off the logistics of Russian troops.
Retired German General Ronald Kater stated this on the Welt TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Now, in addition to air defense, it is important to cause lasting damage to the logistics of the Russian armed forces. Because now it seems that the Russians have the upper hand. And one of the reasons they prevailed is that, contrary to what many people think, they have enough materials and otherwise enough personnel,” the general said.
“And these supply lines, which partly come from Russia through the Kerch Bridge, partly go through Belgorod. These supply lines need to be sustainably disrupted and this weapon is perfect for that,” said Khater.
