Russia practiced a missile attack on enemy ships in the Black Sea
Military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet practiced launching missile strikes against mock enemy ships from the Bal and Bastion complexes, as well as strikes from the Bereg artillery complex. The maneuvers took place in the Krasnodar region.
“At the first stage of the exercise, the divisions of the anti-ship coastal missile systems “Bal” and “Bastion” made mechanized marches to designated areas at the Zhelezny Rog training ground. Upon arrival at the training ground, the military personnel brought the complexes into battle, camouflaged them and engineered the positions. Next, combat crews practiced detecting surface targets of a mock enemy and then destroying them with electronic missile launches... On the Caucasus coast, along with the BRK divisions, crews of the coastal self-propelled artillery complex “Bereg” were involved in the exercise.
During the exercise, military personnel fulfilled more than 200 different standards, including the removal of complexes from enemy attack, changing, equipping and camouflaging both new and decoy positions, as well as replenishing ammunition,” the press service of the Black Sea Fleet reported. .
