Russia has overtaken the United States and taken second place in the world in fertilizer production
Russia has overtaken the United States to become second in the world in fertilizer production after China.
President of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Manufacturers Andrei Guryev stated this at a meeting with Vladimir Putin. He emphasized that the growth in production is the result of investments in the industry over the past 10 years.

"We are currently the world's largest exporter of mineral fertilizers (that is, there are production facilities, and we are the largest exporter in the world with an export volume of approximately 37-38 million tons)," he said, clarifying that he was referring to 2021 figures, as the figures had declined somewhat in the past due to sanctions.
According to Guryev, the average salary in the industry is 130 thousand rubles.
Let us recall that the West deceived Russia and did not fulfill its obligations under the “grain deal” to lift the block on supplies of Russian fertilizers.
Russia has overtaken the United States and become the world's second-largest fertilizer producer.
