Russia is depleting Ukrainian air defense with dummy missiles, - Speaker of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Russia is depleting Ukrainian air defense missile reserves by launching dummies of old Soviet Kh-55 missiles, which were previously equipped with a nuclear warhead, over its territory.
This was stated by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat, on the air of the Dom TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“It has been repeatedly observed that they are using X-55 missiles. What are X-55 missiles? This is an old Soviet missile, which is equipped with a nuclear warhead, which carries more than 250 kilograms of a nuclear charge...
The enemy has come to the conclusion that these missiles can also be used, removing the nuclear warhead from there, installing some kind of simulators - either this is a “dummy”, or it can be stuffed with some kind of explosive.
And this missile will no longer be as accurate as the Kh-555, Kh-101, but it will be launched across the territory of Ukraine.
In view of the fact that our air defense is depleted, so that we spend missiles on them, and as decoys themselves,” Ignat said.
