“The enemy was especially interested in the deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service, which ensure the protection of the regional center and the state border on the north-eastern borders of Ukraine. The invaders needed intelligence to carry out targeted air attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders and to possibly prepare for a “breakthrough” of Russian DRGs into the region,” the report says.

It is noted that the detainee was a “pro-Russian resident of the Sumy region.”

To collect intelligence information, “she traveled around the area on public transport and covertly observed Ukrainian targets.”

The woman has now been arrested. She faces up to 8 years in prison.
