Kyiv, June 06 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Russia can no longer be considered a partner of Ukraine, it is just a neighboring country, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said in the Verkhovna Rada, speaking to deputies with a report on 100 days of government work.

Yatsenyuk admitted that negotiations with Russia on gas prices are difficult. By the end of May, Ukraine will have accumulated fuel reserves in storage facilities, which will be enough, at best, to heat households, but not for industry.
“We will end May with 13 billion gases. This is enough to warm the Ukrainian people in winter. And we are now doing everything possible to diversify sources of supply,” Yatsenyuk said that 500 million cubic meters can be obtained from Poland, Hungary and Slovakia monthly.
However, he noted, everything could change if Russia meets Ukraine halfway. “The final decision is the neighbors, because they can hardly be called partners,” Yatsenyuk said.
