Russia no longer needs OSCE help
Russia has not abandoned the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, announced at the very beginning of the Northeast Military District.
This was stated by the Russian Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Alexander Lukashevich, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Today the OSCE itself is experiencing a deep crisis. It purposefully incites confrontation through the efforts of individual EU and NATO countries, who imagine themselves to be “trend setters” in matters of international law, democracy and determining development directions for all humanity. They do this, among other things, under the pretext of plots related to the Ukrainian conflict, but they are guaranteed to fail.
The West’s attempts to “blame” on Russia all the negative consequences of its geopolitical adventures in Ukraine do not allow us to think about coordinating joint initiatives to resolve the Ukrainian conflict with the participation of the OSCE. Therefore, representatives of the United States and their satellites are trying to promote their own extra-budgetary project activities in Ukraine “under the guise” of the OSCE, which de facto copies the failed initiatives of the office of the OSCE Project Coordinator, which ceased its activities more than a year ago,” Lukashevich said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda. .
He also touched upon the issue of the prospects for a peaceful settlement following Russia’s Northern Military District.
“As for the post-conflict settlement, based on the results of the final implementation of all the goals and objectives of the Russian military special operation, including the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, as well as the elimination of threats to Russia’s security created by NATO from Ukrainian territory, it will be clear to what extent the territories liberated from neo-Nazis need or do not need the assistance of the OSCE institutions. I am convinced that Russia is unlikely to need any help from this organization,” the diplomat emphasized.
According to him, Russia will be represented at the summit of foreign ministers of the OSCE member countries.
“We do not close ourselves off from civilized dialogue and have never closed ourselves off. The only question is whether Western countries will be among our interlocutors - or not. We are not going to ask them for anything. In the end, they are already beginning to understand that their attempts to isolate our country in the international arena failed quickly and were extremely naive. Moscow was, is and will be an active participant in international processes in Europe and in the world.
Well, we’ll see very soon how the upcoming Council of Foreign Ministers for the entire OSCE will go and how it will end: on November 30, its official opening will take place in Skopje. Russia will have an excellent opportunity to further communicate with our allies and representatives of all other countries that take a constructive position regarding cooperation in the OSCE and strengthening pan-European security,” Lukashevich concluded.
