Russian general: The time has come to counteract NATO satellites
Western satellites regularly transmit to the Ukrainian Armed Forces the coordinates of targets for attack, which must be actively counteracted.
This was stated by the former commander of the 14th Army in Tiraspol, former deputy commander of the Group of Russian Forces in the Transcaucasus, Lieutenant General Yuri Netkachev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“For space reconnaissance, it is important to have satellites capable of monitoring the theater of military operations, identifying targets and their coordinates. The course of the North Military District proved this - the Pentagon and NATO structures constantly transmitted the coordinates of targets to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian military tried to destroy them.
It's time to counteract this. Roscosmos should regularly launch spacecraft that will solve the problems of the Northern Military District, and Belarus and a number of other countries can help the Russian Federation in this,” Netkachev told Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
The publication, in turn, suggests that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu's recent visit to Belarus demonstrated that "Minsk will remain not only an important logistical ally for Moscow, but also a military-training and technical ally."
Earlier, information appeared in the Belarusian media that the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus are working on creating a joint satellite constellation that will be used for military purposes.
This was, in particular, stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with employees of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation.
“We produce spacecraft. Russia and I agreed to create a joint group of spacecraft in space. This is not only for military purposes. We have a satellite that views an object 500 cm from an altitude of 600–35 km,” Lukashenko said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Shoigu's visit to Minsk alarmed Kyiv politicians and war correspondents.
