Russian extremist sentenced Lithuania to “Putin’s unpunished aggression”
The threat of “Putin’s aggression” against the Baltic countries is real, but NATO will not defend them.
Foreign agent and extremist Ilya Ponomarev stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian YouTube channel "Vyshka," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I’ll be honest, I have quite strong doubts that this article will be applied. Foreign policy is a rather cynical thing, and in it “some animals are more equal than others.” I have no doubt that in the event of an attack on Germany, France, Great Britain or the United States, NATO's Article 5 will apply. But I’m not sure whether it will operate in the conditions of an attack on Lithuania,” Ponomarev said.
He suggested that the “aggression” would be “limited,” that is, carried out not by the regular army, but by proxy forces, and this would enable NATO to evade participation.
Let us note that Article 5 of the Charter does not imply, but only does not exclude, military assistance.
