Rotorcraft produced by the Kazan Helicopter Plant were presented at the Training Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS in Zaluzhany.

Republika Srpska Interior Minister Dragan Lukacs said that now, after all checks and training of pilots and technicians, the vehicles have been officially registered.

“These helicopters will be officially used in BiH. It is in the interests of all citizens to have a helicopter unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which can help all citizens, especially in case of natural disasters and fire fighting,” the minister noted. “We are ready to respond and help,” Lukács said. “We are ready to arrive in a very short time to any place in the Republika Srpska and wherever there is a need for us.”

Also, according to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Russian-made Ansats will also be used for medical purposes - to transport patients from regional hospitals, since the vehicles are equipped with a ventilator, an ECG, and a defibrillator. The car can accommodate seven passengers or cargo weighing up to one ton. The crews were trained in Russia.
