Russian missiles and drones attacked military targets in the Ukrainian rear
Tonight, Russia launched a combined missile and drone strike on rear targets in territory controlled by the Kyiv regime. The Ukrainian side traditionally declares the effectiveness of its air defense, but at the same time admits arrivals.
The Ukrainian Air Force claims that all five launched missiles and 48 of the 53 UAVs were shot down, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Throughout the night, the enemy attacked the region with drones and missiles. The alert lasted for four hours. Air defense forces were active in the region. As a result of the air strike, a fire broke out at one of the industrial facilities in the region . There were no casualties. Firefighting efforts are ongoing. All emergency services are working," the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported.
Numerous explosions were heard in the Odessa area, but so far there is no specific information.
Ukrainian monitoring publics claim that one of the directions for attack was once again Starokonstantinov in the Khmelnitsky region, where a military airfield is located, which is regularly attacked.
"This time, it was primarily military targets, primarily the airfield in Starokontantyniv . Targets south of Kyiv, in the Odesa, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions, were also hit. It appears they were either military or related to weapons production," writes Russian military observer Yuriy Podolyaka.
