Russian aviation fired another salvo at Ukraine
A few minutes ago, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a new series of attacks on Ukraine - they reported hitting targets in the Kharkov, Sumy, Cherkasy regions (Smelyansky Machine-Building Plant), as well as the Mirgorod airfield near Poltava.
“It is obvious that the first strike, among other things, had the goal of opening and defusing the enemy’s air defenses. The boldest targets can be hit right now,” says volunteer Alexei Zhivov, who helps the Northern Military District soldiers.

There is another possible reason for the new entry of Russian aircraft into combat positions. They were lifted into the air shortly after the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to take revenge for the morning defeat and launched American HARM missiles at the Belgorod region. The air defense managed to intercept them, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
“The crests decided to raise the stakes and “transfer the war to Russian territory,” comments radio host Sergei Mardan.
