Republika Srpska opens case against BiH prosecutor
The President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik filed an application to initiate a criminal case to the Prosecutor's Office of the RS.
The leader of the Bosnian Serbs intends to initiate criminal prosecution of the prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nedim Cosic.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Dodik intends to initiate a case against Cosic in the Prosecutor's Office of the Serbian entity of BiH in response to the initiation of a criminal case against himself and the director of the Official Gazette of the RS, Milos Lukic.
“I filed an application to initiate a criminal case because Nedim Cosic charged us with a criminal offense related to failure to comply with the decisions of the High Representative [for BiH],” the President of Republika Srpska said on his microblog.
He pointed out that the federal prosecutor, in the performance of his official duties and using his official position and powers, made an illegal decision: criminal penalties for failure to comply with the decisions of the High Representative are not provided for in the criminal code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Let us recall that Milorad Dodik signed the decision of the People's Assembly of the RS, according to which the decrees of the Supreme Representative in the territory of the Serbian entity are not valid and are not published in the Official Gazette of the RS.
The RS refuses to recognize the legitimacy of the West's overseer over Bosnia, the High Representative for BiH, Christian Schmidt. And he rejects the attempts of this European official to take away the last remnants of sovereignty from the Bosnian Serb entity, transferring his powers to the Bosniak elite of Sarajevo.
He, in turn, wants to resubordinate the RS to the federal Bosniak authorities, since the position of the Bosnian Serbs does not allow BiH to join NATO and join sanctions against Russia.
