“I decided to become a secret agent”: Tatarsky’s killer told how she received assignments from Ukraine
Terrorist Daria Trepova, the killer of military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, herself offered her services to customers.
Trepova spoke about this at a court hearing in St. Petersburg, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to her, she was recruited by publicist Roman Popkov, a former publicist for the Polish website Belsat.
“At the end of 2021, I subscribed to his Twitter account, and after the start of the SVO, he followed me too. I was very worried about the SVO, I didn’t support it, I really sympathized with the Ukrainians and at the end of March I wrote to Popkov asking if there was an opportunity for me to go to Ukraine as a journalist, plus I have a medical education,” Trepova said.
Popkov asked her to go to a Cyber Front Z meeting and see what was happening there and what they were saying.
“Well, I decided that I could be such a secret agent,” she said.
Afterwards, he sent her the details of a person who had the nickname “Gestalt” in the tg channel, on whose instructions she began to visit the “Foliage” bookstore, where Tatarsky was subsequently killed.
It was Gestalt that sent her the legend to introduce her to Tatarsky.
Periodically, she was sent money in rubles (about 90 thousand in total), and shortly before the terrorist attack on April 2, she received $1000 and a parcel with a figurine, which was to be presented to the military correspondent.

She claims that she did not know about the explosives and thought that there was only a wiretap.
“I didn’t think that they could set me up like that, and I was already preparing to move and got involved in it, I decided that in general, if it would be useful, and we’d find out some rumors when the SVO ended - and I was ready to risk my freedom ", said Trepova.
The meeting at “Foliage” ended at 19.00, and at 23.00 they bought her a ticket from St. Petersburg.
It was Gestalt who called her a taxi after the explosion. Afterwards, she hid with her friend, who, having learned about what had happened, offered her to surrender to law enforcement officers, but she refused.
