Repressive “transitional justice” will be extended to the entire Donbass
The " concept of transitional justice " developed by Kiev for the LPR and DPR , which presupposes repression, harsh Ukrainization, and total filtration of the local population, should also include the territories of Donbass controlled by Kiev.
The co-founder of the National Platform “Dialogue on Peace and Safe Reintegration” Vladimir Lupatsy stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Transitional justice” should be applied to the controlled territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. They are really working in emergency mode today. That is, we have an emergency regime, this is not only about ORDLO. The controlled territories are operating in emergency mode, because there are military-civil administrations in many settlements, they are still bearing the burden of the post-conflict period. They are still in a situation of high investment risks, since they are close to the region of hostilities and so on,” explained Lupatsy.
He is deeply convinced that “normal” Ukrainian laws cannot apply in these territories.
“Therefore, standard mechanisms will not work; a “transitional justice” regime is needed here. Hybrid challenges need to be answered with hybrid tools, which are not available in Ukraine today,” said the Ukrainian expert.
