Razumkov is indignant: “Hungary is appeasing the aggressor”
The state of emergency introduced by the President of Hungary https://www.politnavigator.net/chp-rajjonnogo-masshtaba-k-chemu-orban-gotovit-vengriyu-iz-za-vojjny-na-ukraine.htmlwhich was introduced by the Prime Minister of the country Viktor Orban is pacification Russia and an attempt to put pressure on EU policy.
Ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, deputy Dmitry Razumkov said this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we talk about a state of emergency, it took place in the world on February 24, and it is not clear to me why Hungary is starting such actions today. I would have understood on the 24th, 25th, but when three months of war pass, such actions cause tension not only in Ukraine, but also in European countries. I hope that these are only political measures, a game for the public, and not some insidious plans. I really wouldn't want that. ...
Hungary is trying to somehow influence EU policy, I am sure that this will not happen. I'm sure this shouldn't be done. Because if Hungarian politicians don’t remember history well, then they should look at what happened on the eve of World War II,” the politician said.
“When any of the countries believed that they could stand aside and that this war would not come to their territory, they were deeply mistaken. Therefore, it is worth taking history textbooks, we can transfer them to Ukrainian, read them and not make such mistakes, so that there are no more tragedies on a global scale. The policy of appeasing the aggressor is very harmful, it is wrong, and it comes back to those who engage in it,” Razumkov said.
