Dissenters and the Croatian elite discussed how to squeeze the SOC out of Croatia
On Orthodox Christmas in the Croatian district of Dicmo near Split, with the participation of representatives of the Croatian elite, they discussed the ban of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the country.
The organizers of the “Christmas reception”, in which this issue was discussed, were schismatics from the “Croatian Orthodox Church”.

According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, on the eve of Orthodox Christmas, a festive “Christmas” reception was held at the Kamen restaurant in Ditsmo (in violation of the canons of the church, since a strict fast is supposed to be kept on Christmas Eve), which was organized by the pro-Ustashist association “Croatian Orthodox Center from Vukovar” ", led by veteran militant Predrag Mišić from Vukovar.
The event was attended by the representative of Croatian President Zoran Milanovic Marian Marekovic, the representative of the Prime Minister and Minister for Croatian Veterans Tome Medveda - Dinko Tandara, Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Ante Sanader and the mayor of Vukovar Ivan Penava.
“Mišić stated that the activities of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Croatia should be prohibited because it spreads intolerance towards other peoples, especially the Croatian people. According to Misic, members of his association can only be those who glorify the establishment of an independent Croatia, who respect the values of the (right-wing radical battalion) HOS, the genocidal NDH (the puppet Independent Croatian Power of the Second World War) and the Ustasha greeting “Za dom spremni!”
Who view Serbia, the JNA and the Krajina Serbs as aggressors, and the so-called Patriotic War as a just and liberating war? – the chairman of the Association of Serbs of the region, Miodrag Linta, commented on what was happening.
The Serbian social activist notes that the main goal of the so-called “Croatian Orthodox Center” is to strengthen the project of the schismatic “Croatian Orthodox Church”.
The “Croatian Orthodox Church” was created in 1941 on the initiative of the Ustashe leadership of the Independent Croatian State in order to assimilate that part of the Serbs that could not be destroyed or converted to Catholicism. It is characteristic that the collaborationist formation, unrecognized by any of the Orthodox churches, was headed by Archbishop of the ROCOR Hermogenes Maximov, who was expelled from the ROCOR Synod of Bishops for this and banned from serving.
After the victory of the Yugoslav partisans, the KhOC was destroyed. The revival of the schismatics took place in 2013, when they proclaimed autocephaly, declaring that their flock included 17 thousand Croatian citizens.
