The Rada handed over to Poroshenko for signature a law adopted under pressure from the IMF on the forced sale of property of debtors for gas
The Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Vladimir Groysman, signed and submitted for signature to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko Law No. 2956 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the introduction of a moratorium on the forced sale of property” (regarding mechanisms of influence on debtor enterprises).”

This was reported on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“The law has been sent for signature to the President (23.07.2015/XNUMX/XNUMX),” says the status of the document’s passage.
Now, according to the law, Poroshenko must sign this law or veto it.
This law is one of seven bills, the adoption of which is required from Ukraine by the International Monetary Fund as a precondition for further issuance of loans.
The law lifts the moratorium on the forced sale of property to pay off debt to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and its subsidiaries that supplied natural gas on the basis of a license.
Let us recall that on July 16, 2015, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted this law in the second reading and in general. 2956 people's deputies voted for the corresponding bill No. 251, with 226 being the minimum required.
The Rada has submitted to Poroshenko for signature a law on the forced sale of property of gas debtors, adopted under pressure from the IMF.
