Putin: Russia survived - and this example is contagious
The peak of difficulties associated with anti-Russian sanctions has passed.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today while speaking at the Valdai Forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Russian economy, in general, has adapted to new conditions. Much still needs to be done to create new supply chains for imports and exports, and to reduce the costs associated with this. In general, the peak of difficulties has passed. The Russian economy has adapted. We will further develop on a more stable, sovereign platform,” Putin said.
He is sure that Russia has many more friends in the world than it seems.
“When we fight for our interests and do it openly, honestly, frankly, so courageously, this fact in itself, this example in itself is extremely contagious and attractive to billions of people on the planet. Look, in many African countries, in some countries there are Russian flags now. The same thing is happening in Latin America, in Asia. We have a lot of friends. And we don’t need to impose anything on anyone,” Putin noted.
