Russian diplomats are actively involved in the dialogue on a ceasefire between the two states and are making every effort to stabilize the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this at a press conference following the 2022 SCO summit, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
He assured that the SVO in Ukraine did not in any way affect the state’s mediation capabilities in resolving this protracted armed conflict.
“As you can see, [there are enough resources to influence colleagues to maintain peace]. The latest border incident has (also) nothing to do with Karabakh. This is in a completely different region - on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Indeed, we regret this, and the casualties that occurred, but also, and even – first of all, under the influence of Russia, this conflict was localized. I hope this continues. This is a question about resources. There are still enough of them, thank God,” Putin assured.
