“Putin is not a fool”: Mosiychuk explained why Russia did not take Kyiv
Russia was unable to take the capital of Ukraine in three days at the beginning of the Northern Military District, because the “Russian agents” who were supposed to ensure the meeting of the troops did not work.
This version was expressed by former Verkhovna Rada deputy and former ATO fighter Igor Mosiychuk on the air of Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Everyone who thinks that Putin went crazy when he attacked Ukraine and thought that he would take Kyiv in three days, they are mistaken. Putin has not gone crazy. Putin acted from a clear calculation, with a bunch of people who collaborated with him and went into collaboration. These are not only those who were named publicly, many were not named, many have titles, many sit in bureaucratic offices to this day,” the nationalist said.
“Many of them speak Ukrainian, by the way. The fact is that the people who were supposed to greet Putin and the Russian troops with bread and salt failed to work, and the system did not work not because Putin is a fool, but because the Ukrainian people, precisely the people, stood up and said: “No” . Neither Arestovich, nor Ermak, no one, but the Ukrainian people,” said Mosiychuk.
