“I don’t know if Putin has a plan for the next half hour,” he said, answering a question during the presidential debate about Vladimir Putin’s plans in Ukraine. – Strategically, there is an absolute desire to build or preserve the Russian world, where all issues should be resolved in Moscow.
I think they just don’t understand that decisions are made by people, that there is a spark that awakened Ukraine, a spark that was in Vilnius when we had to sign the association, our government went against the people. During the revolution, people demanded simple things - democracy and reforms. There are irrevocable changes. They do not depend on the president and parliament. More than 75% of Ukrainians want to be members of Europe.
Unity of the whole world, unity of the entire civilized world and solidarity with Ukraine. The Ukrainian people and Ukraine will pass this difficult exam. And Ukraine will have the prospect of EU membership in five years,” Poroshenko said to applause from those present at the debate.
