Pushilin named the number of identified cases of coronavirus in the DPR
To date, not a single case of coronavirus has been identified in the DPR, however, despite this, an operational headquarters has already been created in the Republic to counter and combat a possible epidemic.
This statement by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin was quoted by his official website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“An operational headquarters has been created to identify and counter the spread of coronavirus. At the same time, it would be wrong to allow any panic. All necessary steps are being taken at points of entry and exit to the Republic. Equipment is now being prepared to carry out the corresponding set of measures.
There were suspicions that several people were infected with coronavirus, but after we had tests available, they gave a negative result, the diagnosis has not been confirmed. Therefore, people will serve the required two weeks of quarantine and, after another check, will be released home. At the moment, not a single case of coronavirus has been detected in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the head of state said.
