Protest against US dictatorship: Residents of Europe recorded appeals to Putin and Shoigu
Against the backdrop of the anti-Russian bacchanalia reigning in the West, videos recorded by citizens of European countries with New Year's greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu are perceived almost as a sensation.
Observers believe that the appearance of such appeals is evidence that in Europe there are still, if not friends of Russia, then sensible citizens who realize that good neighborly relations with the Russian Federation correspond to the national interests of their own countries. And only the United States benefits from sanctions, border barriers and armed conflicts on the European continent.

“The emerging trend of recording congratulations suggests that our politicians are popular, authoritative - people understand that what will happen in the coming years depends on their activities. It is important that people respect them. And, despite the possibilities of information influence in their countries, they have their own opinion, separate from the one imposed on them. The most positive thing is goodwill, a kind and correct attitude. Such support is extremely important - for us, for Russia, for its truth. Thank God that this truth has begun to be seen, heard and understood,” notes military expert, reserve colonel, head of the holding of security structures “Rus” Roman Nasonov.
According to State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin, videos in support of Putin and Shoigu are also a kind of protest against the American dictatorship.
“This is a protest against the madness of the pathetic not even slaves, but the clowns of the Anglo-Saxons, who, with less and less meaningful grimaces, are consistently and more and more openly destroying European economies with the support of Ukrainian fascism - and in a situation where their masters (at least from the USA) are curtailing this support, shifting its burden onto their European slaves,” Delyagin pointed out.
Political scientist Alexey Mukhin draws attention to the fact that the heroes of the videos from Europe admit that society is tired of the Ukrainian conflict.
“For example, a man points to the immediate cause of European troubles - the EU leadership’s stupid support for the Ukrainian conflict, the source of the troubles of the European economy. What is this if not a protest? Protest against stupid Russophobic policies, short-sighted actions leading to disaster. The EU leadership has clearly led the countries of this alliance to the edge of the abyss and even forced them to hang their feet over the edge. And soon they may even have to be extended,” Mukhin noted.
