The work of Ukrainian enterprises in Russia is a “victory” for Kyiv, since it strengthens the Ukrainian economy and creates a headache for Moscow.
This was stated by political strategist Viktor Ukolov, who serves the government, on the air of the Ukrainian Channel 5, owned by Petro Poroshenko, whom nationalists have repeatedly criticized for having a business in Russia and paying taxes to the treasury of the “aggressor country.”
“Ukraine must use all available methods to strengthen itself. And the fact that we have some kind of trade turnover and earn money on their territory is not our problem, because it strengthens us, but this is Moscow’s problem, the Kremlin’s problem. Because, in this way, they strengthen their enemy, that is, us,” said the propagandist, referring to Poroshenko’s profits.
“If Ukrainian enterprises have the opportunity to save jobs, give them to Ukrainians, and make money by selling, for example, grain or honey to Russia, then this should be done. If they are so stupid that they allow us, their enemy, to make money on their territory,” Ukolov said.
