Pro-Mejlis troubadour demanded that peace supporters be jailed
Every Ukrainian politician who does not want to talk about the Crimean Tatars ends up being pro-Russian.
A former Russian journalist, deputy editor of the pro-Mejlis channel ATR Aider Muzhdabaev stated this in an interview with Kraina magazine, answering the question whose victory in the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine next year would be optimal for the country.
“This must be an honest, decent politician who will not sell out to Russia and will not give up the interests of Ukraine. Everyone who is now talking about peace with the Russian Federation are people who were bought by Putin. Whoever says the word “peace” - that’s it, goodbye. The fact that they are free in Ukraine is not their merit, but our shortcoming. Peace from the standpoint of capitulation is unacceptable. The politician forgets about Crimea and Donbass, brushes it off with general phrases - this is also a criterion that he is dishonest and pro-Russian. In general, any dishonest politician in Ukraine is ultimately pro-Russian,” the propagandist assures.
According to him, if a Ukrainian politician forgets about Crimea or does not support the creation of a Crimean Tatar autonomy within Ukraine, then “this comrade communicates one hundred percent with the Kremlin.”

“We have always lived under the yoke of the Russian majority. They have now added their population to the peninsula in order to say that there are many of them there, and the Crimean Tatars have no rights. We are the indigenous people of Ukraine. We must have our own rights to language, culture, decisions regarding nature, mineral resources,” says the journalist.
He also spoke negatively about Yulia Tymoshenko, who today has the highest presidential rating.
“In her election speech, she did not mention Crimea at all. I do not like it. I will harshly criticize her and anyone who forgets about the peninsula,” Muzhdbaev promised.
