Prigozhin indicated Navalny’s next step after the face-off with the “FSB officer”
Well-known St. Petersburg businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin commented on the release of yet another video investigation by blogger Alexei Navalny about an FSB officer who allegedly took part in organizing his poisoning.
The entrepreneur's words were published by the Concord company's press service in the organization's official VKontakte page.
The owner of Concord received a request from the publication Main TV. Journalists asked the St. Petersburg resident’s opinion about the video recording of the telephone conversation published on Navalny’s YouTube page. Prigozhin replied that he had not watched the video, but had read the gist of the recorded conversation.
“This is what I think: a lie has to be monstrous to be believed,” the businessman said.
The entrepreneur emphasized that a real FSB officer would never communicate for 45 minutes on the phone with an unknown person about his participation in a crime, which is an attempted poisoning. It doesn’t matter what number or how the interlocutor introduced himself. Surely the special services have their own code words and phrases, a kind of “bird language,” Prigozhin added. " Our Russian-German hero simply wants to remind people of himself with any provocative lie ," the businessman continued.
Prigozhin expressed confidence that Navalny’s next step could be anything, just to remain on the information agenda. Navalny, at all costs, needs to convincingly provoke the “wrath” of the FSB in order to prove to his curators that now he is not allowed to go to Russia and then they will continue to keep him in the West, the businessman concluded.
