Come to Crimea and own us! – Chiygoz poured oil on Poroshenko’s ears
Hundreds of thousands of Crimean Tatars are waiting for Petro Poroshenko to return Crimea and arrive there as President of Ukraine. The deputy chairman of the extremist Majlis, Akhtem Chiygoz, who was released from a Russian prison by agreement with Turkish President Recep Erdogan, stated this during the congress of the ex-head of state’s European Solidarity party, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When you sit in prison and break more than two thousand, you turn it over to your side with the words “Glory to Ukraine,” and these words come from the belief that here in Ukraine, your country is gaining so much strength. And today, receiving messages from distant Russian camps, here they are - the winners! Because they say: “We believe, we will not give up,” Chiygoz began the story of his exploits chaotically – those gathered in the hall burst into smiles and began to clap, not paying attention to the meaning of the words of the Mejlis member, which was impossible to understand.
“Who unites Ukraine? Hundreds of thousands who have been under occupation for more than five years, continuing their struggle against the occupier, the cruel, bloodthirsty occupier, at the cost of their lives, cross this administrative border every day in order to maintain contact with Ukraine. They are the ones who unite! We are united by those who stand with arms in hand and defend our homeland, and not by those populists who today are trying to believe that they have seized power through lies, deception, and manipulation. It’s okay, we are here, we haven’t gone anywhere,” Chiygoz warned.
“Peter Alekseevich! I am here because, you remember, in prison I said: “You are my president!” – you are still my president. I am here because hundreds of thousands of my compatriots believe in Ukraine and continue to fight.
Remember, a year ago I said: “Peter Alekseevich, the Crimean Tatars are waiting for you as president to enter Crimea with liberation.” I'm sure it will happen, we all believe in it. Glory to Ukraine!" – added Akhtem Chiygoz and hugged Poroshenko.
