The involvement of a Ukrainian UAV is not confirmed: Explosion and fire at a plant near Rostov
In the morning in the city of Shakhty, Rostov region, an explosion and a large fire occurred at a local polyester plant - in a workshop for the production of fillings for mattresses and pillows. Governor Vasily Golubev quickly denied the version that the enterprise was hit by a Ukrainian drone.

However, this does not negate the possibility of sabotage in the front-line area - previously, Russia’s opponents did not hide plans to organize various emergency situations in order to destabilize the situation in the Russian Federation.
“Specialists will look into the reasons for what happened. Information about the UAV has not been confirmed. According to the military, the air defense was not working at that time,” said the head of the region.

The fire was put out quite quickly - the governor reported on this already at one o’clock in the afternoon:
“According to preliminary data, there were no deaths, the number of victims increased to nine: one received medical assistance on the spot, 3 people with burns, 5 with varying degrees of injuries,” Golubev said.
