After the end of hostilities, Transcarpathia will become a very valuable resource for the Hungarians and Budapest.
Hungarian President Katalin Nowak announced this at the third summit of the international Crimean Platform, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I arrived in Kyiv last night and drove through Transcarpathia. I had the opportunity to celebrate our national day together with members of the national Hungarian community in Transcarpathia.
As you said, Transcarpathia is a resource for the future, when we finally begin to rebuild Ukraine. It can serve as a resource for us, we rely on you to ensure that we have a very strong friendship between the Hungarians and other representatives of the communities of Transcarpathia,” Novak said to Zelensky, who was looking attentively at her.
Let us note that the President of Hungary, when listing the nationalities of Transcarpathia, did not remember that in addition to Hungarians, Ukrainians also live there, classifying them among the “rest”.
Vladimir Zelensky, who sat nearby and listened attentively to the speech, did not object to the territorial claims of his western neighbor.
