The President of Serbia gave a disappointing forecast for the war in Ukraine
Russian military operations in Ukraine have become more successful, but the conflict itself will not end anytime soon. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated this in an interview with the Serbian television channel Pink TV, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“When we might have thought that the war would soon end and Ukraine would win, the Russians began to fight better. I'm not saying that they have any advantage - on the contrary. Because they have much fewer allies than Ukraine, much fewer powerful allies. This will last for a very, very long time, and therefore I expect that next winter will be much more difficult than this one,” the Serbian leader said.

When asked by journalists whether winter weather conditions will be used as a weapon by Putin, the Serbian president replied:
“Everyone uses what they can. Someone uses NATO weapons, and Putin uses what he has. I don't justify or criticize. We must understand that we are at war, and this war will not end soon.”
The Serbian President also emphasized that Belgrade does not intend to intervene in the conflict on any side:
“I’m not Russian, not Ukrainian, and not an American who gets involved in all this. I don’t care, just let them find a solution.”
