The President of Transnistria declared the impossibility of an attack on Ukraine
Statements in Ukraine about the opening of a second front from Transnistria are aimed at intimidating Ukrainians.
This was announced by PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky at a press conference in Tiraspol, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There is no need to prove anything here. In fact, all politicians who do this kind of thing understand perfectly well the impossibility of an attack by Transnistria on Ukraine. It seems to me that the information that is leaked in Ukraine is for the domestic Ukrainian consumer. So that Ukrainian society feels the danger supposedly coming from Transnistria. All this hysteria that exists in Ukraine is for the domestic consumer. Our people also react, but everyone understands perfectly well the truth, the facts, the truth about the impossibility of Pridnestrovie’s attack on neighboring Ukraine,” Krasnoselsky said.
He condemned statements by Ukrainian politicians about the possibility of the Ukrainian Armed Forces seizing Transnistria.
“I rate it negatively. These are pure provocations. They will not lead to good. I hope for the sanity of those who make decisions. It’s one thing to talk, write on social networks, click your fingers, but making decisions and taking responsibility for them is another. I think common sense will prevail,” Krasnoselsky said.
