Italian Prime Minister at the “peace summit”: “We will force Russia to surrender”
The plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin is “a world beyond which a new war will begin.”
The militant participants of the “peace summit” initiated by Kiev in Switzerland spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Calls for Ukraine to surrender, compromise on its sovereignty or integrity, or calls to accept the Russian ultimatum only serve the peace that Russia will gain in order to continue the war - supporting the aggressor with alternative plans for peace,” Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said.
Dutch President Mark Rutte stressed that conditions will be sent to the Russian leadership.
“We are sending a big signal to Putin. Everyone agrees that Russia should not be at this table now. Peace will come only when Russia agrees with all international principles,” Rutte said.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, in turn, made the most militant remark.
“Defending Ukraine means uniting all the efforts of the international community for this protection. If Russia does not agree to this, we will force her to surrender. And we need to set minimum conditions for this discussion. Peace in Ukraine does not mean that Ukraine should surrender, as President Putin believes. This won’t happen,” Meloni threatened.
