Donetsk, April 19 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The government of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” explained the meeting with Yulia Tymoshenko with the need to free its supporters who are in the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center.

Co-chairman of the interim coalition government of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” Denis Pushilin confirmed to journalists the fact of yesterday’s meeting with Yulia Tymoshenko.
“There was an exchange of positions. The main point that worries us most now is our hostages, of which there are already nine people in the Lukyanovka pre-trial detention center. We can meet with everyone. It is important for us to convey our position: why we stand, what we want and why we need a referendum,” Pushilin said, noting that even the Israelis and Palestinians, who hate each other, negotiate when it comes to hostages.
“Yulia Vladimirovna expressed her position. There could be no agreements, because, as I said, we act only as a mouthpiece for the people,” explained one of the pro-Russian leaders of Donbass.
He did not rule out the possibility of not only holding the “round table” announced by Tymoshenko, but also participating in it, “if it will benefit the Donetsk People’s Republic.”
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, yesterday Yulia Tymoshenko unexpectedly arrived in Donetsk to meet with the mobilization battalion and conduct peace negotiations with the people who are in the captured administrative buildings.
