BiH entrepreneurs hope that their country will join the “Balkan mini-Schengen”
The Chairman of the Foreign Trade Chamber (VTK) of BiH, Vekoslav Vukovic, hopes that the Presidium of the country will decide to join the American project of a single economic Balkan space.
If the decision is positive, Bosnian producers expect to enter a market of 18 million, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We hope that the decisions that will be made (by the Presidium of BiH - ed.) will benefit the economy, which is not in the best position,” said the chairman of VTK. – The signing of the mini-Schengen agreement may be the first positive news that could impact the economy in the wider context of the region. We must move towards tolerance because economics is what binds us.”
Vukovic also said that the Chamber had previously warned that the problem between BiH and Kosovo was primarily political and not economic.

This is how the Balkan mini-Schengen should look like geographically, but BiH and Montenegro have not yet agreed to participate in it
“First of all, I mean the time when 160 percent duties were introduced by Pristina against us along with Serbia. Then we lost a market of XNUMX million convertible marks. At the beginning of this year we began to return this market, but someone else took our position. We still have the opportunity to come back, let’s take advantage of it,” he said.
It is expected that a meeting of the Presidium of BiH on the issue of joining the Balkan mini-Schengen should take place next week.
